First launched in 2017, the award-winning Edge plaster-up-to invisible loudspeakers
have become synonymous with low frequency impact and a truly immersive listening
experience. The iBSS update not only provides significant acoustic upgrades, but
also introduces a new installation technology for plaster finishes. The introduction
of ToneRelief panel technology combined with Aminas patented Optidrive,
Optidamping and Reduced Resonance Exciter technology increases the Edge7iBSSs
high frequency performance well into the ultrasonic region, and further improves low
frequency extension and smoothness. The Edge7iBSS features an all-new integrated,
sealed backbox that is acoustically tuned and provides protection to the speaker from anypotential contaminants, ensuring a trouble free installation and long life. The streamlined installation process automatically aligns the speaker to the correct depth resulting in a faster, easier installation.

Example Applications:

High-power residential/commercial distributed audio solutions and multi-channel
surround sound systems. Designed to be installed into dryline walls/ceilings, but
may also be used as a post-plaster retrofit in applications with a plaster skim coat,
or behind acoustically transparent materials. Can be supplied with high-impedance
100/70V transformer.
