Auris HA-2 SE Headphone Amplifier
Special! Mullard Vintage 12AT7/CV4024 for the preamp section included NO CHARGE! Cryo-treated 'Kevin's Stash' grade!
With an ECC81, 4 x PL 95 pentodes, and 1 W power output
Auris HA-2 SE is a balanced single-ended headphone amplifier. The lineup of tubes is classic Auris, with the use of four 7-pin Ei PL95 pentode power NOS tubes, which are the equivalent to 6DL5, and a single ECC81 dual-triode input tube, also known like 12AT7.
The transformers are manually wound in-house on a double C-core, and provide almost totally linear characteristics through the frequency range.
The HA-2 SE comes with an impedance switch to select 50/150/300/600 Ohm according to the type of your headphones. This is the best deal we've seen on a headphone amp and will never be repeated again by Auris. Perfect for Meze, Focal, Sennheiser, and most dynamic headphones. Not good for Susvara and other planer magnetics that are hard to drive.
