Also, theAT-DAC100 is tuned for tueb preamps bysuppressing high-frequency noise output, notably someswitching and filters, making the unitideally suitedtothe AT-BHA100 balanced headphone amplifier.
The low pass filter usesthe audio-grade LME49860 operational amplifier from Texas Instruments for low distortion and superior attack performance. Once paired with theAT-BHA100 headphone amplifier, some great Audio Technica headphone pairings arethe ATH-ADX5000, ATH-MSR7b, and the ATH-AW Series.
This versatileDAC hasUSB-C, USB-B, optical, and coaxial inputs, with sampling rates goingup to768 kHz, 32-bitfor PCM, and 22.4 MHzfor DSD. The coax and optical inputs are limited to 195 kHz, 24 bit.
The DAC ships with a high-quality external Analog Devices power supply. Key components include audio-grade Nichicon chemical capacitors, and WIMA film capacitors.
