Building upon R&D at the cutting edge of invisible speaker technology, the Mobius iB range introduces an entirely new installation technology for plaster finishes.

The all new integrated backbox (iB) option combines any Mobius product with an acoustically tuned steel backbox and the patented Amina front mounting tab fixtures to provide a highly robust sealed unit for trouble free installation and lifelong operation. The Amina front mount process avoids any shimming requirements as of result of substrate depths, automatically ensuring the loudspeaker is at the perfect level ready for skimming, resulting a faster installation times.

First launched in 2017, the award-winning Edge series of plaster-up-to invisible loudspeakers have become synonymous with low frequency impact and a truly immersive listening experience. The iBSS update not only provides significant acoustic upgrades, but also introduces a new installation technology for plaster finishes. The introduction of ToneRelief panel technology combined with Aminas patented Optidrive, Optidamping and Reduced Resonance Exciter technology increases high frequency extension well into the ultrasonic region, and further improves low frequency extension and smoothness. The Edge5iBSS features an all-new integrated, sealed backbox that is acoustically tuned and protects the speaker from any potential contaminants, ensuring a trouble free installation and long life. The streamlined installation process automatically aligns the speaker to the correct depth resulting in a fast and easy installation.
